Kacie Young

Before joining avad3, I worked as a preschool teacher, in customer service, and as a warehouse inventory associate. Each role taught me something different, but they all showed me how important teamwork and organization are to getting things done well.

The most inspiring part of my job is definitely my teammates. Their dedication and passion encourage an environment of constant growth and improvement, which feels rare and refreshing in today’s job market. It’s motivating to work alongside people who are always pushing themselves and each other to be better.

My favorite part of event production is the organization that goes into it—bringing together all the pieces and then stepping back to see the finished space once everything is set up. That transformation from concept to reality is incredibly satisfying.

Outside of work, I’m happiest reading a good book or playing tabletop RPGs with friends.

If I could have any superpower, I’d choose to control or manipulate energy. It might sound a little out there, but energy can’t be created or destroyed, only transferred—meaning this power could be a nearly limitless fuel source with endless possibilities.
