Creative event planning combining a live stream feed with an in-person audience helped to give Medal of Honor recipients a special night to remember.
The Medal of Honor is the highest military award American soldiers can receive. Service members receive this medal by distinguishing themselves through conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of life above and beyond the call of duty. Out of the 3,000+ soldiers recognized with this award, only 66 are alive today.
A large corporation sponsored a fundraiser gala for the Congressional Medal of Honor Society, whose mission is to preserve the stories of Medal of Honor recipients and share their values through Outreach and Education initiatives. This special evening event included dinner and A-list entertainment. This event needed to be memorable, enjoyable, and flawless. A world-class celebrity chef was brought in to prepare the meal and serve as emcee for the night.
Before setting up any equipment, our team collaborated with the corporation’s event planners to ideate a creative spin on the event. Using a produced live remote video feed from the kitchen and a small remote video crew, the chef would appear via video throughout the evening to give an entertaining talk about the food attendees would receive.
Of course, such a gala requires the right tools for the job, but our team of experienced professionals made this night of entertainment and fundraising for an important organization flawless and successful.
Based on the overwhelming success and outpouring of support from those in attendance, this Medal of Honor Gala returned annually for years after, and the sponsoring corporation continued to call on avad3 to build on the success of this first event.
